The сylindrical rubber buffer can be made of rubber and metal or rubber only. The type of rubber can be selected to suit the specific application (e.g. if resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures is required).
The metal parts of the buffer are given a special anti-corrosion treatment. We can manufacture a rubber elastomer of a specific hardness level suitable for the intended load of the buffer to effectively absorb the vibration of equipment impacts.
Buffer dampers are used to reduce noise levels and absorb a large amount of kinetic energy released during impacts, thereby reducing the load and forces that adversely affect the equipment or structure that is struck. The buffer, either with height adjustment or not, is also used as vibration support for production equipment.
Rubber buffers prevent wear and tear, helping to avoid unexpected breakdowns and downtime, and sudden stops in production (unlike hard buffers which are noisier, wear out quicker and cause damage to equipment).
Anti-vibration buffers can be used in overhead cranes, sifters, feeding hoppers and vibrating tables. As a non-rigid stop serves to limit movement and shear in vehicles, office equipment that is not attached to a surface of low rigidity.
