Description

Silentflex® 954202-954203 vibration mounts consist of a top plate, a base with four mounting holes and a threaded shaft. The damper is made of cast iron with a special high-strength protective layer of paint that gives it even more resistance to harsh environments.

The elastic element is an all-metal cushion made of stainless steel wire. The number of cushions depends on the vibration isolator model:

– two metal cushions for references 954202 and 954203;

– three metal cushions for models 954202D and 954203D to reduce stiffness.

Natural frequency between 11 and 22 Hz allows using these shock absorbers for the suspension of:

– Heavy machinery (industrial mills, shredders, printing and textile machines);

– Rotating machines (motors, generators, pumps, etc.) that operate at more than 2000 rpm for ref. 954202 and ref. 954203D and at more than 2500 rpm for ref. 954202 and ref. 954202D;

– Overhead cranes (metal / steel structures, cabins, equipment).

The 954202-954203 vibration mounts are distinguished by their equal frequency characteristics and the anti-rebound system provided by the metal cushions. These mounts can be used to suspend engines on board boats, vehicles, etc. They withstand extreme temperatures between – 70 °C and + 300 °C, so that exhaust manifolds can be isolated too.
